The warm jungle day was perfect for an elephant group picnic. Mama Elephant packed a scrumptious basket filled with sweet berries. Little Ellie and her brother, Timmy, excitedly ran around playing leapfrog amongst the tall trees.
They spread out their blanket under a giant mango tree and started to eat. Papa Elephant told funny stories that made everyone laugh. They even had a singing competition. After the picnic, they all slumbered in the shade of the massive trees until it was time to head back home. It was a truly magical day for the elephant herd.
